12.02.11 COUNTY MATCH HOME V WORCESTERSHIRE

 

On the opening fixture off the season all SIX sides recorded victories over their relevant Worcester opponents.

 

Staffs A won 27-17 Man of the Match Carl Hough

Staffs B won 29-15 Man of the Match Lee Grout

Staffs Ladies won 28-16 Lady of the Match Leanne Cragg

Staffs Juniors won 31-13 Man of the Match Ryan DiMarco

Staffs Seniors A won 7-2 Man of the Match Nick Burton

Staffs Seniors B won 5-4 Man of the Match George Bradbury

 

Next Match Sunday 11th March away to West Midlands

 

29.01.11 COUNTY TEAM TRIALS UPDATE .....

 

At todays mens county trials 6 players were added to the county squad. Dave Shaw, Andy Cragg, Paul Powell and Daz Henshall made it through the trials with Dan Rush and Alex Bailey recieving 'wildcards' into the side.

 

27.12.11 COUNTY TEAM TRIALS UPDATE .....

 

The details of the county trials are below, all to be played at our county venue Players Pool Club.

Staffs Mens County team trials have been confirmed for Sunday January 15th 10.30am registration (£5 entry fee)

Mens re-trialists and trial winners Sunday January 29th 10.30am registration

Staffs Ladies County Trials have been confirmed for Sunday 18th December 10am registration (£3 entry fee)

Staffs Juniors Trials have been confirmed for Sunday January 8th 10.30am registration (£3 entry fee)

Staffs Seniors Trials...The county will be entering two sides into the Region 3 seniors competitions this forthcoming season.

A 'trial' system will be played on Sunday 8th January at Players 11.45 registration 12 noon start.All players must be 50 years old on or before January 1st. Its £5 entry fee.

12.12.11 .... REGION 3 CHAMPIONS x 3 & RUNNERS-UP x1

 

The final league positions will show Staffordshire Champions of the A section, B section and the Ladies. The Juniors finish runners-up to National Champions West Mids.
